Rant 1
For companies that are busy trying to please investors, and overpaying CEOs. Try to remember that without the people who work for you, you won't HAVE a company. Then of course you wouldn't have to deal with CEOs or investors. So give the poor damn employees a raise and good benefits. You'd have nothing at all without them.

Number One
Sapphire Views is launching now. Daily musings and advice about relationships and about cats.
Friends, I recently realized I needed a creative outlet for my urge to write (or blab, as the case may be) and after debating whether I had anything to offer, decided to heck with it, I'll pass on my thoughts (which you can skip) and also offer my advice on relationships and on cat care and rescue. I have a degree in psychology and much experience in helping people discover tools for communicating better, though I am now rusty at that. In 2008 when I moved to California, I became unwillingly immersed in cat rescue (having 3 cats of my own at that time) and through much trial and error and all the wonderful help and advice of others in the field, gained some knowledge and experience in this area. Now I find myself at the pet food store dispensing advice to people shopping for cat food and remain surprised at how much the general public does NOT know. So here I am, willing to help as needed. I will take questions, and you can remain anonymous and do my best to give or find answers or resources for you.
I will also take questions on relationships etc and do my best to give you an unbiased perspective to evaluate your situation from. Hopefully my own experiences will be useful to others.
At this time, I am an old fogey of 63, residing in the suburbs of San Francisco, with a number of rescue cats seeking homes after being saved, made well and loved into having loving natures of their own. Eventually I will have to retire and see my income drop, and become unable to help as I focus on my own struggle to survive without savings or retirement. I don't know what that future will hold, but I'm avoiding it as long as I can. Join me in exploring this road, and like any smart cookie, I'm totally open to advice!
Nastiness will not be allowed. Stay civil or be deleted.
